Philip Goacher Associates has extensive experience of checking the additional loading from photovoltaic (Solar) panels and, where necessary, can design appropriate strengthening solutions.  Philip Goacher Associates will visit site, take all necessary measurements, carry out calculations and provide a written report with conclusions and recommendations, taking full design responsibility for the loading on the roof structure.

Philip Goacher Associates can also design and oversee strengthening measures if required, utilising contractors known to be experienced in roof strengthening or working with client's own contractors.  The fee for the visual inspection and calculations will be a fixed fee which will be quoted to you.  Any additional works such as strengthening or contract administration services is usually charged on an hourly rate basis.
