Philip Goacher Associates prepared an initial report detailing the defects to the property and ranking the defects in order of priority. A Schedule of Works was prepared and a budget price obtained from a builder.
In conjunction with the Managing Agent, a 5 year plan for upgrading the property was produced. The plan took into account the urgency of the works, available funding, scaffolding requirements, etc.
A meeting was held with the residents to explain the proposals and an agreement was reached to implement the plan. Schedules of Works on a year by year basis were produced and the work was carried out under our Contract Administration. The property has been transformed from a building known locally to have serious problems to a much sought after apartment block.
